Gifted Testing

Mason students are eligible for two cognitive assessments each year for the purpose of a new gifted identification in this area.  Students with an existing gifted identification in cognitive ability are not eligible to request testing again for the purpose of a potential change in services.

As we work diligently to design a gifted test schedule that will best accommodate staff and students, we ask you to register your student only if necessary by accessing the grade level specific information linked below. The deadline for registering for this optional testing opportunity will be:

  • For Fall Testing:   Friday, Nov. 18th 2022
  • For Spring Testing:  Friday, March 24, 2023

In order to plan appropriately for resources such as staffing and test materials we must adhere to the registration deadline.  We will not be able to accept late registrations for any reason.
