Welcome to Mason High School

We educate the district's 9-12 grade students. We pride ourselves on providing a learning ecosystem that strives to deliver excellence every day for ALL of our students by ensuring high impact learning, engaging our families and community, and providing a safe and nurturing environment.  The foundation of our learning ecosystem is built through the relationships we build with our students, families, staff members, and community members through open dialogue and communication.  We value each other’s unique experiences and backgrounds that make our MHS learning community diverse and dynamic. We strive to provide experiences and opportunities for all learners that provide us with the opportunity to learn about and from each other to gain an appreciation for the rich diversity within our community.

As educators, we want to emphasize the following educational goals:

  1. All Mason students will graduate prepared to thrive in a global economy.
  2. Every Mason student has meaningful, authentic, and engaging learning experiences.

  3. Engaged parents and community members champion Mason students.

  4. Mason High School is a learning environment that is safe and nurturing for all students.

  5. At MHS we strive to implement the 3 Districts Rocks: Culture, Inclusive Excellence, and Personalized Learning.

Hope Squad

Hope Squad is a mental health awareness and peer to peer suicide prevention program at Mason High School and Mason Middle School. Squad members have been anonymously nominated by their peers. Hope Squad's mission is to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and to promote this message to the community as well as within the schools.

Mason High School Hope Squad meets during school four times a week. All squad members are trained in the methods of QPR (question, persuade, refer) and SOS (signs of suicide). Along with that, the squad completes a mental health curriculum for teenagers.

Within MHS Hope Squad, we have developed and work through six different committees. Split up into events, service & operations, social media, in school, out of school, and education & training, this helps our activities run smoothly and provides our members with leadership opportunities.
