Despite trying to find a single place that houses all information and does everything needed to Mason Quality standards, we've been challenged to do so. We seek platforms that meet the needs and perform functions exceptionally well versus trying to do a lot of things moderately well. Below you'll find a guide to help you navigate the systems we use. Returning student parent first time login: Click Login
Click Never logged in? Below Login and Back buttons
Click Send Secure Link

Home Access Center Login Information (Only for MHS and MMS) | HAC
First-Time Login
- Click Register for HAC
- Select Mason City Schools
- Enter Information and click Register (must use the same email address that’s currently listed on your child’s account) - make sure you use the email that’s registered with the district
- You’ll receive an email with an access token
- Click the Register Here link within your email and enter the access token
Logins (anytime after initial account setup)
- Login In
- If you forgot your username or password go here: Click Here
MasonConnects Login Information
- Go to https://masonconnects.me
- Click Sign In as Parent
Choose which method you would like to use to sign-in using Microsoft, Facebook or Google. You will need the password to the account you wish to use to login, if you don’t have one of these accounts you can create a Gmail or Microsoft email.
Create a Google Account or Create a Microsoft Email
- Once logged in you will see the home page and announcements
- Click the + sign in the upper right-hand corner to add a student
- Enter this access code <<provided in August or go to our Parent Portal and click Verify
- Repeat the process to add any additional children
- Click on the three horizontal lines and click Students
- Here you’ll find schedule information, contact information, assessments, and plans
PaySchools Central
What can you do with PaySchools Central
- Pay school fees
- Activity fees
- Athletic fees
- Check your child’s meal account balance
- View student transactions
- Make payments to your child's meal account
- Set up low balance meal account notifications.
Not registered at PaySchools Central? For a free, easy one-time registration, visit https://payschoolscentral.com, follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and add your students using their Student ID number.

Safe Arrival and School Messenger Text Notification Login Instructions
Initial Setup Instructions
Have you signed up for Safe Arrival / School Messenger? Not sure? If you attempt to sign up, it will tell you that an account already exists. Simply click the forgot password link, and you’ll receive an email communication.
- Navigate to https://go.schoolmessenger.com
- Create an account by clicking Sign Up in the upper right-hand corner
- You MUST sign up with your HAC (also shown within MasonConnects under Primary Contacts) registered email address
- The system will send a confirmation email, from which you must click a link to verify that it is you.
- Then, you can proceed with the instructions below.
Reporting an Absence
- Navigate to https://go.schoolmessenger.com
- Click login in the upper right-hand corner
- Click on the three lines in the upper left-hand corner
- Click Attendance
- Click the plus sign beside Report an Absence
- Select the student
- Select the type of absence
- Select the reason
- Click Send
- That’s it!

Schoology Login Instructions
First time login instructions:
- Go to the Schoology Forgot Password page
- Enter the email that’s associated with your child (what’s on file with the school - Check https://masonconnects.abre.io/ to learn more)
- Click the Send My Login Info
- Watch your email for instructions for resetting your password
Returning Users:
- Go to the Schoology login page
- Enter your username and password
- Click Login

SchooLinks
MCS has provided your email to SchooLinks so that you have an account waiting for you.
- Visit app.scholinks.com
- Sign in using one of the options below
a. Click Login with Google if the email you have on file with the district is a Google account.
OR
b. Click Forgot Password, enter the email you have on file with the district, then follow the email instructions to create a password.

3. Once logged in, click the My students tab at the top to view the associated students determined by your district.


Seesaw
Grades K-2
Seesaw requires a printed, email, or text invite from your child's teacher. If you did not receive this please contact your child's teacher.
Create a New Seesaw Account
- Download the Seesaw App or go to app.seesaw.me on a computer tap "I'm a Family Member"
- Scan the QR code provided to you by your child's teacher.
- Follow Prompts to create an account or sign in
Connect a New Child to an Existing Account
- Login on the Seesaw App or go to app.seesaw.me on a computer
- Scan the QR code provided to you by your child's teacher
Connect family members can only see their own child's learning.
