Kings Local School District, in partnership with South Lebanon Community Center/Joshua’s Place Community Outreach Organization, is  participating in a Summer Meal Program. The program will provide FREE meals to ALL children between 1 and 18 years of age. Youth ages 19-21 with a mental or physical disability and who participate during the school year in a public or private nonprofit school program are also eligible to receive.

You can access nutrition, ingredient and allergy information through our interactive menus that are identified with the icon next to them. As you hover over a food, a window will appear that includes a picture and nutrition, ingredient and allergy information. Does your student have a food allergy? Use the allergen tab at the top and choose from the list of allergies and any food containing that allergen will be crossed out. You can choose more than one allergen at a time. View monthly menus. 

For children with life-threatening food allergies, parents should also complete the Meal Account and Food Allergy Management Form  or call child nutrition at 513-336-6526.

Important! Final Rule Effective July 2, 2024 - Partnerships with Faith-Based and Neighborhood Organizations:  USDA and eight other Federal agencies recently published a final rule entitled, Partnerships with Faith-Based and Neighborhood Organizations at 89 FR 15671 (final rule). The final rule is effective on July 2, 2024, and requires that local operators of all Child Nutrition Programs:

• Must provide written notice to beneficiaries of their right to be free from discrimination on the basis of religion;
• Must provide written notice to beneficiaries of how to report violations of these regulatory protections; and
• May provide written notice to beneficiaries on how to obtain information about other federally funded service providers available in their area.

To support implementation, the USDA released a model written notice to beneficiaries, which should be used by Child Nutrition Program sponsors to provide the required notice.  The form is also available in the Download Forms, Civil Rights section of Claims Reimbursement and Reporting System CRRS).

• SNP sponsors must provide written notice to beneficiaries by using one or more of the methods below:
• Post a written notice at the service location (e.g. schools, child care centers, community organization sites); or
• Post a written notice on the local program operator website; or,
• Provide flyers or handouts at food distribution sites (e.g. congregate meal sites, non-congregate meal pick up locations, etc); or,
• Add the written notification to the program application

In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at:  https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf , and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
