Mason City Schools students will present their projects during the 13th Annual UC Science and Engineering Expo
on March 10.
Students from school districts across southwest Ohio will present at this event for scholarships and other awards. Mason Middle School and Mason High School students who earned a superior rating at the January 26 Mason Science Fair were eligible to attend the UC fair.
A “superior” is the best rating a student can get on a project. Those students who earned the top rating and will also be moving onto the UC Science and Engineering Expo are:
Mason Middle School
Amir Akbar, Azhaan Ashraf, Lakshmi Avanthsa and Aveena Singh, Amuktha Boyinepally, Johan DeMessie, Srihith Gangireddygari, Shrilekha Kalavakolanu and Harshita Uppuganti, Hritika Kotian, Yujia Li and Tanya Marla, Rhea Maheshwan and Adhira Shankar, Sneha Menon, Bhuvan Meruga and Nikil Prabhakar, Siddhant Nagar, Kunal Ponkshe, Gayatri Rajan, Ameya Saraf, Ariana Swaminathan, and Lisa Zhou.

Laalitya Acharya, Siddharth Barve, Rhea Mehta and Ishika Mukherjee, Maanasa Mendu, Sanchita Paranthaman, Kaavya Ramachandhran, and Anant Ramji.
Competing in the Science Fair requires plenty of time and commitment from students, and many have been working on their projects since the beginning of September.
