INSPIRATION

North -> East  SET VISION | EXPLORE | LEARN | STUDY
  • Description: This phase is all about generating enthusiasm, curiosity, and learning. It's the initial spark that motivates further exploration.
  • Experiences: Activities might include brainstorming sessions, inspirational talks from educators or experts, and exposure to innovative teaching methods or technologies.

INVESTIGATION

East -> South - RESEARCH | INVESTIGATE | PILOT | EXPERIMENT | DESIGN | EVALUATE FEASIBILITY
  • Description: Initial ideas are explored by gathering information, researching best practices, and evaluating feasibility.
  • Experiences: Staff might participate in professional development, workshops, pilot programs, attend conferences, or visit other schools to observe techniques.

IMPLEMENTATION

South -> West - EXECUTE | IMPLEMENT | APPLY | ANALYZE | SCALE
  • Description: This is the action phase where plans are executed. The focus is on practical application of the ideas within the school environment.
  • Experiences: Teams engage in exploring opportunities will analyze what they have piloted and learned while exploring opportunities for scaling ideas.

INVESTMENT

West -> North - REFINE, SOLIDIFY, REFLECT, COMMIT, SUSTAIN, CHART LONG-TERM PLAN
  • Description: The final phase focuses on scaling and refining the outcomes and solidifying the new practices. This includes reflecting on what has been learned and making commitments to sustain successful initiatives.
  • Experiences: Analyzing feedback from all stakeholders, adjusting methods based on results, and planning for long-term integration of successful innovations.
