Appoints Delp President, Wise Vice-President

The Mason City Schools' Board of Education swore in new members and appointed new leadership during its organizational meeting on January 12. Newly elected board members Beth DeGroft,  John Odell  and Connie Yingling were sworn in at the beginning of the meeting. Yingling, a returning member, was honored during the meeting for her two-year term as Board President. Superintendent Kevin Bright presented Yingling with a plaque symbolizing the district’s appreciation.

Shortly after DeGroft, Odell and Yingling were sworn in for another term on the board, Debbie Delp was unanimously elected the board’s new president, and Kevin Wise was elected vice-president.
